As others have mentioned, I don't know if I would agree with your takeaways. New watches from both big and small brands can have problems, entry level or not. My Grossmann Tefnut had a visible piece of dust in the movement when I first received it. Althou

A Grossmann Tefnut and Parmigiani Kalpa QF! I'd love to own more but nice watches are expensive and I like to choose carefully.

Good call on keeping the DB!

I've only made 2 acquisitions, a Grossmann Tefnut and Parmigiani Kalpa. I've never had any intention to sell or trade, and It would take an unreasonably good offer to make me consider parting with either. Buying carefully and keeping for life is my policy
