I really like what this brand is creating lately, especially this recently released 37 Arabic Vintage Steel Anthracite:
I was really hoping to finally see one in the flesh during this recent New York City trip.🤞 Unfortunately, I had to settle on seeing the white gold / black dial combination, once again:😔
This comes in the identical 37mm case with a thickness of 9.2mm:
Looking at the engine room, she’s powered by their in-house Calibre 102.1 manual wound movement (Apologies on the plastic):
Also had the opportunity to handle their Tefnut in stainless steel with a silver dial:
She comes in a slightly larger (39mm) case diameter, yet with a more curved and less thickness (8.5mm):

I especially like the first one the most. Excellent proportions. The railway minutes track works much better with this dial design than the milliseconds . Striking, and thanks for sharing Mark! 👍🏻

But Lange still has the upper hand on the actual engineering, more complicated movements and such.

About a year ago I dug into looking at MG pieces. I admit I was a little thrown off on understanding the names for each reference and determining which was which. In addition most seemed relatively big and thick for time only. Nice to see that 37 and 39 v...
I was also surprised by the thickness, Kevin!
Initially I saw the 37 Arabic Vintage Steel Anthracite as a dress piece. But after handling the black dial, I see this more for casual wear so I can ‘tolerate’ the case thickness.🥂

This brand has been on my radar a few years
Much like Parmigiani, before I finally broke through and bought the Minute Rattrapante. I cam very close to the platinum / grey dial power reserve a year ago. In time, I will own something from this brand.
They make awfully nice pieces. One of my favorite independents.
