I purchased my Tefnut sight unseen through their 10th anniversary Christie's auction.

When I received it, there was a piece of dust in the movement that I noticed. I sent the watch back to have it removed. They took care of everything under the warranty, and I've had no issues since. So overall a very positive experience with their service

Have great acquisitions ruined other watches for you?

The predicament I'm in with my current two watch collection, a Moritz Grossmann Tefnut and a Parmigiani Kalpa...As much as I'd like to add a third, I'm having a difficult time imagining that I would get enough enjoyment out of any others to justify the ex

Moritz Grossmann marks the third chapter of its founder’s 200th birthday celebration with the unveiling of the Tefnut Silver-Plated by Friction . . .

Some live pictures of Moritz Grossmann pieces . . .

I really like what this brand is creating lately, especially this recently released 37 Arabic Vintage Steel Anthracite: I was really hoping to finally see one in the flesh during this recent New York City trip.🤞 Unfortunately, I had to settle on seeing th

I hope the issue with your Moser is resolved, though I would try to be patient.

As others have mentioned, I don't know if I would agree with your takeaways. New watches from both big and small brands can have problems, entry level or not. My Grossmann Tefnut had a visible piece of dust in the movement when I first received it. Althou

Only two since first getting interested in watches about 7 years ago...

A Grossmann Tefnut and Parmigiani Kalpa QF! I'd love to own more but nice watches are expensive and I like to choose carefully.

Optical Illusion

There's an interesting optical illusion on the Grossmann Tefnut movement. The base plate on the left might look flat at first glance, but there's actually a step which a part of can be seen more clearly by the escape wheel. The trick that gives the illusi
