Moritz Grossmann marks the third chapter of its founder’s 200th birthday celebration with the unveiling of the Tefnut Silver-Plated by Friction . . .

1. To celebrate the birthday of their pioneering German watchmaker and founder, Karl Moritz Grossmann, the brand initially unveiled the Hamatic Silver-Plated by Friction, limited to 18 pieces:

2. This was followed by the
unveiling of the Tremblage Gold editions, both limited to 8 pieces:

3. The celebration continued with the unveiling of the Tefnut Silver-Plated by Friction in two models, each limited to 12 pieces:

One model is in a yellow gold case, which is the first time the Tefnut model will be available in this configuration:

The other is in a white gold case:

These cases have a 39mm diameter and a height of 8.5mm:

Both models feature a dial with Roman numerals that are filled with green lacquer:

They are brought to life by their in-house Calibre 102.1 manual wound movements, beating at 21,600vph with a power reserve of 48 hours:

Both models reference the founder’s birth year of 1826 on the balance cocks of the movement:

Both have the historic ‘M. Grossmann’ logo and hand-engraved alligator straps:
