I've been in the independent watch world for a while and am thinking about my next watch. But I have never really understood movement finishing. In other words, when two top watches are in front of me, I am not sure which one has a good finishing and why it is good. If taking Philippe Dufour and Greubel Forsey finishing as 10 (not sure if they are the same level of finishing), I would like to know what you think about other brands.

Options for my next watch (favorites in order): Laurent Ferrier mirco rotor, Moritz Grossmann hamatic, Voutilainen (25% deposit and 5+ years waitlist), F.P.Journe Souverain/Elegante, CZAPEK (haven't touched it in person)

in person, but my deposit has been put down with Kari. I believe his are among the best finished watches being made.

Kari is more likely to be a watch for the big day, like my wedding...

Currently, I don't have enough funds to buy another watch after depositing it, and it's a long waiting time.
