Not my best photographic work

Incredible weather today in the Mile High. A glimpse of Spring. Soon to be squashed with single digit lows and snow next week. We still have a ways to go, but good days are to be enjoyed.

Parmigiani Fleurier Tonda PF 36mm

Would not recommend it. Too light, too slim, too minimalist, too undercover. Case and dial finishing so perfect, it's sterile. Proportions are 'just right'. Seconds hand and date were missing on purchase, too.

Mining the Parmigiani archives . . . Toric minute repeaters

For a brand that has not achieved its 30th birthday, Parmigiani has a rich catalog of horologic masterpieces. This post reminds us of several minute repeater creations that are marvels, both technically and artistically. PHOTO CREDITS: MONOCHROME or A BLO

Hand-Turned or Machine Guilloche? See WatchAdvisor video starting from 18:30 - Credit to WatchAdvisor for Video and image

Per WatchAdvisor Video - start from 18:30 -> Guido says a machine does something to the dial, I think he is saying some guilloche dials are made by machines. See YouTube Video below. Credit Watch Advisor www.youtube.com
