Congratulations on this purchase. I have had mine for about 20 years. The case size was made for this movement and case is very thin, which further compliments the thin movement. And very comfortable.
My dato original sits the same way. A moot point. It is not top heavy with a butterfly clasp deployant. Could even be ss. The clasp on the bottom of your wrist will support the weight when you turn your wrist and the watch leans. Don't feel my watch on at all. Its a simple fix.
If you want a leather strap on it, buy a ss deployant. Maybe purists will have an issue with this, but I do not. With the deployant that expands on both sides, the bottom of your wrist where the deployant sits will balance out the weight of the dato. I have had this for a long time on my leather dat
