Patek Philippe: PP is fully capable of making - and have made - movements that can fill the case, or rather the other way around.

The question here is what case you want to use to shelter the movement. That is a choice to be made. This watch has a case with a diameter larger than the chosen movement, I do not necessarily see that as something wrong in itself. What we like, or do not like, is a personal choice and cannot be arg

Horological Meandering: My reaction is based on a judgement of watchmaking in a workmanlike manner (aka handcraft) related to price.

My reason for being critical is that the initial pictures show a rudimentary finished movement based on the simplest and cheapest of all watch movement production methods. That is not the case for most of the interesting watches discussed on this forum. watchmaking quality and workmanlike tradition
