I am sure you will be happy with any (or all) of the four 👏🏻😊👍🏻

And keeping fingers crossed. I find you have chosen four truly exquisite pieces. For me the Cartier I truly lust after and that i unfortunately missed when it could have been gotten more easily is the 2396C CPCP Monopussoir. Maybe one day 🤞🏻🤷🏻‍♂️

On the wrist today, for its inaugural wearing.

CPCP Rotonde de Cartier Jour et Nuit, white gold, Ref. #W1550151.It runs on a hand-wound JLC-supplied caliber 9903 MC, and the detailed, 3-dimensional hand engraving on the day/night hours disk is utterly captivating. I'd been waiting to wear this until a

Just arrived: CPCP Rotonde de Cartier Jour & Nuit, White Gold

This watch has to be seen in the metal to truly appreciate it. While I associate Cartier with shaped cases (a weakness of mine), the artistry and craftsmanship displayed in this dial and day/night hours indicator disc are just phenomenal. Both the guilloc

As with all Cartier there are just so many different variations within the collections.

Then there's CPCP and all the Unobtanium stuff. Like the Cartier Custom Order program. George Cramer wrote about it for Fratello here: www.fratellowatches.com

These really are beautiful examples of Cartier doing what they do best.

Unlike most here I would go for the Platinum time only version as my favourite, now the reason I don't think we see a lot of these watches is that not a lot were made being only a CPCP watch. Also I would imagine those that own one rarely if ever sell the

Cartier Tank à Vis

Introduced in the early 2000s, the Cartier Tank à Vis (literally Tank with screws) was introduced as part of the Collection Privée Cartier Paris (CPCP). Here are three examples in white metals with different complications : dual time , time only and wande

Slowly but surely

Working my way towards some CPCP and modern Privé stuff and eventually a NSO. Not bad for one week of getting into Cartier…
