2018 Audi RS5 Carbon Edition.

2, 9 liters 6 Cylinders, 445 HP, 0 to 100 Km/h in 3, 8 seconds, which is much better than the former RS5 with its 4, 2 l 8 Cylinders and its 430 HP doing the same exercise in more than 4 seconds. I owned a A5 2 doors, and loved it. The S5 / RS5 is a dream

Near miss - the Opel Omega V8 🇩🇪

In 2000 Opel was still a prominent player in Europe (Vauxhall in the UK) and after the relative success of the Lotus Omega / Lotus Carlton, as well as all German premium players offering a V8 option, the appetite to compete in this part of the market was

Very interesting …

Not quite as quick as Rosemeyers record, it was 406,32 km/h / 252,48 mph October 25, 1937. He tragically died as he tried to brake the record in 1938 with over 430 km/h. See link - https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=wgeR1lQzoT4

My Dad has the first automatic UK 430

in 1989. It arrived with one set of exhausts bouncing on the ground, rear seats too narrow for the cabin, and the transmission not correctly set up. The turbo lag sent it sideways in the wet and it spent more time in the garage than on the road. It was ta

You should, if "feelsome" driving is a priority

My Evora S, from the 1st series, is now in continuous every-day-use since 2010. There were some niggles sorted at the beginning under warranty, but since then it was just an annual service (and one "rebushing" of the suspensions). After 220'000 km it is s

I completely agree with you.

With that said, when I played around on the AML website configurator, and specced out a DB12 exactly the way I liked it the price went from $250K base, to $350K!! In that context, given that the Vanquish is almost 'fully loaded' at that base price (all ca

This is called the N430 in the European market.

It's the best "normal production" Aston Martin product ever produced in my opinion. I'd even argue it's better than the 2015-2018 Vanquish. Which is a nice car, but that car is not a sports car, not especially sporting to drive, and doesn't have dry sump

It's not exactly elegant.

Hmm. I kind of just want to go back to a 2015-2016 Vantage GT (N430 in some markets) V8 with that green color and yellow lipstick. I liked the way that car looked and I liked the way that car drove. The last couple years of the Vantage with the GT model h

More power, maybe even on the weight?

Power is up to 440hp at the wheels, under 6k rpm not too different from stock but 6k-8k rpm is a rush (early 430hp dyno before exhaust and final tuning but this is close) I never weighted the car post mods but I guess around even? Rollbar is heavy and X51

My father had the first 430 auto in UK

In 1989. It was an auto box that was homologated and didn’t really work. The back seats didn’t fit properly and there were huge gaps directly into the trunk through the sides! The left-hand set of exhausts fell off as it was delivered. It spent more time
