Hi all! I was curious if you had any patek calatrava recommendations in platinum from 34-36mm? I find that the modern 5196p and 6196p references are a tad too large for dress watches. I have a royal oak in 37mm and I think for a dress watch the 34-36mm si

My 6196P has arrived, and after living with it for a few days, I’ve come to realize that the 1.33mm increase in thickness over its predecessor, the 5196, is quite a significant design change. I had noticed this when reading the press release back in April

Patek should always have an xx96 in its lineup. I look forward to what Patek releases next in the lineup, likely in the same form as the 6196P but in G, R and Y. Those will be nice. As to the 5196, I like it but I think the movement size is a mere comprom
