Thanks for your advice, very valid points. To me, the dial of the 5140r is quite beautiful as it changes shade when in natural daylight and then under strong lighting. I wouldn’t wear it that often as it would be more like a special occasion watch. Adjusting the 5140r each time might be a pain but perhaps the 6196p would be better for quick setting, winding and wear…..also draws less unwanted attention?
IMO you should consider them from a different angle. For the same amount, consider
what you are getting. With the same price, would you want a PC or a watch with no complications ? Are you purchasing a watch you like or is this a pure investment for you ? If investment only, WPS is not the correct site to advise you.

The 5140R is a grand complication and is definitely better value now and will hold its value better too. But buy the watch that you love, the watch that suits your wrist and lifesyle. I was not impressed by the over hyped 6196P when I tried it on. The dia...
