Too big

I am very sad that Patek has increased the size of almost all it’s watches in the last years. There is almost nothing I would buy in the current lineup. If this or the 6196p were in 37 mm (the 6196 almost in 36.5 since it wears large) I would buy it in a

Managed to try this at my AD, am surprised they already have it I find the hands and hr indices too intensely black, same as the 6196P salmon.. not very convinced

For me personally, the following three stand out:

1. 6105G-001: It dares to present a design they never did before. The Richard Mille for intellectuals, if you will... 2. 5810/1G-001: The 41mm size and the 240 microrotor movement makes this very compelling to me and I would love to own one (if that happe

Patek Calatrava Recs in Platinum in 34-36mm?

Hi all! I was curious if you had any patek calatrava recommendations in platinum from 34-36mm? I find that the modern 5196p and 6196p references are a tad too large for dress watches. I have a royal oak in 37mm and I think for a dress watch the 34-36mm si

I love the 5196P aesthetically. The position of the seconds register does not detract at all from the watch IMO. In fact I think it is a plus. It allows for large Breguet numerals and a 2 tone

outer track. The 6196P might rightfully be deemed by some to be a “better” watch. More advanced full sized movement, see thru back etc. and yes, it has caused quite a sensation. But comparing it to 5196, while it is certainly elegant and fabulous, I find

just an observation

from your side elevations diagrams the 5196 and the 6196 have the protruding 'finger nail' between the 6 lugs for opening the case back-are they hinged?-where 6119 does not. 6119 having a standard snap back hence can be thinner along with the flat glass b

Autumn Leaves and an Evergreen

My 6196P has arrived, and after living with it for a few days, I’ve come to realize that the 1.33mm increase in thickness over its predecessor, the 5196, is quite a significant design change. I had noticed this when reading the press release back in April

For me: 5196P aesthetically is much more appealing than 6196P. The dial is soooooo much more interesting and beautiful. Now maybe if 6196 had Breguet numerals …..😊

Yes, the better suited movement and see thru back of 6196 are very appealing, but still, what you see on your wrist is the front side. 6196 is quite elegant but for me not so exciting. I think almost any strap will look on 5196! PS I think you should chan

Neither like the 6119 front nor its back. Not into hobnail bezels and I find the current manual Patek movement unattractive to put it mildly. Apart from the movement size I much prefer its smaller predecessors. If you were comparing with the 6196 at least
