I find the hands and hr indices too intensely black, same as the 6196P salmon.. not very convinced

Agree with Krinck, wish Patek would find a way to stay 40mm or under, even for complicated pieces like the 5270

I think a lot depends on the
Case design eg 5070s wear much smaller than the actual 42mm due to the unusually thick bezel and claw like lugs.. another case is the 5711/12, 40mm but I feel it wears like a 38mm being lugless and having a thick bezel
I think this 5227G
wears smaller than prev 5227s as the previous ones had a thinner bezel.. I don’t have an issue with the size for this version, but I am more used to large watches
I actually prefer this case to the 6196
I find the 6196s lug width to be too wide for a 38mm case..

It's OK. I don't understand why Patek 'messes' with such great DNA. Not a whole lot needs doing here. Why the odd-shaped hands? They aren't quite right, are they, on a Patek? The movement, so, so, so pedestrian on such a watch. The date wheel in white... ...
