Hands on review of the Rolex Submariner 124060

Almost everything has been said about the Rolex Submariner 124060, the latest version of the most famous diving watch that was unveiled last September. So, rather than going into a classic presentation, I propose to explain the reasons that motivated the

To all owners of Explorer 14270 or 114270...

Do you have desire to flip yours, for the new Explorer 36 (124270)? When Rolex released it few weeks ago, I had thought i'd flip my 114270 for the new one, in desire for upgraded movement and bracelet. But after saw many real life pictures and detailed sp

For me it is, certainly. Narrow bracelet with a movement only used in ladies references tells me the watch is now firmly positioned for them (no offence meant in any way).

The Maxi case really works with the 114200 and the wide bracelet combines to give it a substantial, vintage bubble back look but in a modern Rolex. Slimmer case and narrower bracelet 124200 won't have the same vibe at all, imho. Plus, the 2232 movement is

New Oyster Perpetual! what size and color?

I walked from theater 7 where I had been watching Mulan into theater 8 where Tenet was playing on the big screen. At exactly 10:07 I sat down in row 14 seat C but there was no one in the seat next to me. Six seconds later a guy sat down next to me with a

One of the visual differences between cal. 3000 and cal. 3130 is

that cal. 3000 uses a balance cock while the cal. 3130 uses a balance bridge. No-date Submariner Ref. 14060 was powered by the cal. 3000. When the reference was updated to ref. 14060M the movement was changed to the cal. 3130. From your picture, I see a b

Friends, can you let me know the difference of the caliber 3000 and the present 3130?

Here's the engine of my Sub 14060. Any peculiarities? Asking and curious. Thanks in advance. Geross 😉

Pictures you posted are quite bad...

at least on my phone...are these pictures from seller? What I know 14060 and the 14060M are basically identical watches. The 14060M has a movement that has been modified with a full balance bridge and larger balance wheel so movement 3000 vs 3130 and henc

Why not? Every 14060, and this is a 14060M, always welcome!

This one is only produced from 2003 to 2008, with two lines and the Chronometer movement with Breguet balance spring It is the successor of the Submariner 5512, also existed with two and four lines, always with Chronometer movement and Breguet balance sp

Great post Joe, thank you!

I like to talk a little bit more about the TWO LINER 14060M without Chronometer Certification, but the Chronmeter movement 3130. First of all we find here the same, what we can find with the predecessor 5513 and 5512. Some Two Liners 5513 wear the movemen
