2015 Aston Martin DB9 V12 Carbon Edition.

Elegant, powerful, class... A pure pleasure to look at. One of our friends gave me the pleasure to have a ride on his DB9... It was something! Best, Nicolas

A bit of a long story

Beside manual transmission I had a set of unusual requirements due to parking space limitations, no more than 190cm wide which ruled out some nice cars (z06, r8 v10). 911s were ruled out early because I already owned one, driven many and they have become

I have not driven neither machine.

Not sure it's a fair comparison; one has 2/3rd the engine size, 2/3rd the cylinders, and less than 2/3rd the price tag. But I'm sure both cars are likely to be wonderful machines. I found the DB9 to be much more grand tourer than sports car. And I'm told

Wait until you drive the Lamborghini Huracan...

You get all the Italian emotion, plus the German technical expertise. And here's the kicker, for an exotic brand sporty car, it's actually VERY RELIABLE. Remember, 18-20% of it is basically AUDI; people say that this is a bad thing - but it's really a goo

Ahh, I didn't know that...

Then again, I'm not qualified to be an expert witness in a design showdown about Aston Martin. Thanks for sharing this detail! I still like the Marek Reichmann cars. And I'm certain the Reichmann cars generally drive better - I haven't driven the new DB11

Not a fan......

Im not a fan - my heart has always been with the V12V - even to the exclusion of a wonderful DB4 and V8 Virage Volante Widebody. However, prejudice aside for low lying high-powered 2-seat Coupes, the AM fan base and Owners Club (Red Trouser W@nkeritis set

So far not...

Drove 16k km in the first year and didn‘t have any problems with the brakes - despite reaching 312 km/h . The carbon ceramic brakes of the DB9 or the Vantage V12 are much better, indeed...d Color is meteorite silver with bitter chocolates hides and ivory

Aston Martin DB9 GT „Last of Nine“

This is my favourite Aston Martin. The last 9 pieces of the icon DB9 came in this special commission: „Last of Nine“ To my mind, one of the most beautiful cars ever made. What do you think??

Many-many thanks to everybody for your

knowledgeable posts, I didn’t expect so many answers. Well, I thought before my post, that it is an irrational decision, followed by heart. What surprised me, that two members changed to an e-car, if my memory serves well, to a Tesla and an I3, after havi
