"The watch is ready to be shipped and it is working perfectly and passed all tests with flying colors. We are proposing the fol

Horological Meandering: Contagiri continued

As a follow-up to my post of December 21st about my experience with the Contagiri, " Please also note that we carefully tested your watch and it works perfectly as a Contagiri. I am sure that you will understand and be an adept of the Giuliano Mazzuoli’s way of time concept. " I direct your attentio

Horological Meandering: I kind of understand...but

In none of the promotional material was this mentioned. I would like to have been offered this 'concept'ual information before I put down the big bucks. I can give you a good deal when your number hits.

Thanks to everyone for your responses. All of the issues mentioned are helpful. I purchased the STD because it is programmable. I do get a little concerned about the wear and tear on the watches but consider the trade-off worthwhile for my perpetuals. Happy New Year to all.

Horological Meandering: watch winder

What? nobody here uses a watch winder? I typed in that title on the "Forum Search" and received a message that there are no results! I'm sure a few of you have purchased a winder for your perpetuals. I recently purchased a Scatola del Tempo model and have a question about your approach to properly d
