Mary ann please see the mess that I was left to contend with, he could not get the inster back in to the bezel and from what i can see he tried to file it or pear it down, he also did a job on the bezel itself it is bent out of shape and can no longer house the insert without it popping out. Bill yes when I was researching this I stumbled on your article and it was why I signed up to this thread! Extemely informative article my guess is it is a fat font Mk3? but i am really struggling to commit to be honest, Maybe i have got this completley wrong? He has assured me that it is not cracke

Thanks Mary Ann, yes scratch is superficial and comes with age unfortunatley, what do you not like about the font?
