I had the strap lying on top of the guides because I needed the second to last hole. Doesn’t matter much with the deployant but it would with just the buckle. Not sure what the rep had in mind but it certainly isn’t designed for that.
It seems to me that one of the Breguet reps once told me that the buckle on the deployant could be used as a pin buckle. It does have all the parts. May save a bit of money. Beautiful watch. I’d try a shot of the other side but your picture was so good it caused me to change in to mine. Good luck.
