Based on previous release patterns at Patek...usually a reference is "retired" after they release platinum models. There is a very good chance this will be the last year for ordering Ref 5711 and next year there will be a new Nautilus to take it's place. Not sure what happens but I know this particu
May I ask where this watch is delivered. So far I have not heard of any deliveries in North America...most deliveries started in the Europe/Middle East and probably next in Asia. North America has not received any allocation as of Sept 2015...at least that I know of.
Several years ago, I was rushing thru customs on my return trip from Taiwan, a border agent noticed my watch from my wrist sleeve. He casually asked me if that was a Patek and asked which complication it was. I was wearing a ref 5039R and he even knew it was a perpetual!!
