All The AD received the Amvox back from JLC a couple of weeks ago. They were not 100% happy with it as they thought it was still noisy. So they sent it back to JLC in London for a double check. I agree about the LE version. I tried one on about 3 years ago and was very very tempted. It was just a bit too formal for what I was looking for at the time. Though it would fit perfectly now if I had the money... Thanks for posting the pictures and post. Good memories of a watch hunt.

All JLC are not moving an inch neither through the discussions the AD are having with the Service Centre nor with any discussions I am having with Customer Service. I agree anything can go wrong and often does - crucial will be the response of JLC to the problem and whether they can offer a compromise. So far, it hasn't been promising.
