I heard recently from a couple of Omega boutiques in Paris that the titanium Ploprof is no longer produced. Either nobody wants it and it costs more than its revenue, or they're preparing for a replacement. I just hold once the steel and once the titanium 1200m models. As much as they are fun, it's
Got myself a new-ish watch. A completely overhauled Omega Ploprof 600 with everything new except its caliber 1002. A fantastic watch, with great comfort. It makes me wanting to try the 1200M in steel on mesh. Kudos for Omega to continue producing all these parts, 30 years-ish after its end of sale.
I had the 372 and now have this 587. The radiomir lack or the crown-guard is for better comfort. And i find it is well balanced along with this dial. Note also that the 587/662 lugs are wider than their luminor brothers, the 673/663.
Bought recently the silk dial version and I love it. The quality is there, everywhere. And finally a screw down pusher I can use easily without removing the watch. What a pleasure to click that start stop pusher !
Stop me if i'm wrong. 673 and 587 share the same dial and hands. 662 and 372 and 663 share the same hands. 372 and 673 and 663 share the same case. The lugs of the 587 are a bit wider than of the 372/673. The crown instead of the crown guard make it much comfortable.
