I have a Patek Philippe watchband that was from a watch presented to a family friend in the 1950's. The 18K buckle on it has the name spelled "PATEK-PHILLIPE." I've not found any other reference to a misspelling except for the Howard Hughes watch. It appears to be the same style buckle as the Hughes
