Patek Philippe: Had an earlier version in Slate gray dial

The concave bezel made it less scratchy and the pierced lug is a sight to behold. This color combo really stands out and makes the watch a head turner. If there’s one pet peeve I have - it is the hour subdial which doesn’t do much aside from telling if the time is am or pm.

Patek Philippe: 5172 for me.

Mind boggling that the newer Patek complications are not getting the “love” - 5330, 5320, 5270… always the previous models… smh

Jaeger-LeCoultre: I have one …

Patek Philippe: Agree - lost in translation or miscommunication.

Found it hard to believe if what was quoted was what he says. Met him in 2022 during an event, seems to be a nice guy…

Patek Philippe: Thanks for sharing! It’s the P Salmon for me

Dial color and hour index in a Platinum case made it extra special topping with a tachymetre scale which should be present at all times for a chronograph.

Patek Philippe: A vote for the 5270P…

The size is a bit big for my wrist but if the 5970 stocks have tarnished hands, might as well go for the 5270 instead. Thanks for sharing!
