I am confident PP will return your watch as new. Since it just happened, I think they should be able to remove most/all corrosion and there will be no need for a new movement. In my opinion, the white dial version works best for this model. How many turns are needed to fully wind it?

I went on Tuesday. The pieces I enjoyed most were the zebras and this one below. This one has a nice treat (shadow of a small lizard) that is best seen when looking from far away rather than closely. Here I zoomed in but the picture was taken further away.

Watch design 101: no pilot watch should have crown guards, now we have a hybrid submariner-air king. So happy I got the first iteration 😃
