Horological Meandering: I found myself less interested in this hobby because of:

1-Insecurity across major European cities, especially London and Paris. Do not feel safe enjoying my watches. 2-Hype and financial aspect of it, which is always there. Heard directly from Patek staff that long term customers want new sport models that are not Aquanaut or Nautilus. Everyone is bored

Patek Philippe: Sorry to hear about your misfortune

I am confident PP will return your watch as new. Since it just happened, I think they should be able to remove most/all corrosion and there will be no need for a new movement. I always check my crown(s) before getting into the water. One piece of advice when a watch gets wet: get it dry and place it

Patek Philippe: Congratulations.

In my opinion, the white dial version works best for this model. How many turns are needed to fully wind it?

Patek Philippe: A very nice and enjoyable exhibition

I went on Tuesday. The pieces I enjoyed most were the zebras and this one below. This one has a nice treat (shadow of a small lizard) that is best seen when looking from far away rather than closely. Here I zoomed in but the picture was taken further away.

Rolex: Deeply disappointed with the addition of crown guards

Watch design 101: no pilot watch should have crown guards, now we have a hybrid submariner-air king. So happy I got the first iteration 😃
