Help servicing/repairing my beloved Breitling

But something tells me they would still happily put in a new battery for way too much money. The boutique near me won't even do a battery, they say they'd have to send it to Breitling.
Then they recommend the nearest place that will do a battery swap. I guess the next question for your situation is do they have parts?

The big question is who made the electronics. If Breitling made them it's more bad on them than if they sourced it from another company who stopped making the parts, which

I don’t know if Breitling was making these movements…
But they should offer some solution. Replacing it with a more modern compatible movement would a logical approach.

Was sent to the French service center and they refused to service it, I am requesting the watch to be returned
Note that apparently there is only one service center for France, which is close to the Swiss border (Besançon).
