Well, it's taken a while but I finally decided to buy my first Patek. I felt it had to be a Calatrava. I like automatic watches with sweeping seconds. This one really spoke to me with its officer caseback yet thin enough to tuck under fitted shirts. Would have done without the date, but it is close
Quick update and discussion on accuracy/reliability of this watch. Please feel free to share your own experiences of Breguet accuracy/reliability. After testing it for 1 month since purchasing it, the 7787 watch is almost exactly 50 seconds off (slow). This means the accuracy is around -1.5 seconds

..though i will be honest and say that i prefer the brown strap because it has a touch of warmth/redness that suits the red gold. Hwever i am biaised as i am brown-haired and a bit tanned by nature. :)
Thanks to those purists who posted their info and pics of the 7787 white enamel, I could not resist buying this model. Wanted a watch in my collection with a moonphase - with the seconds and also reserve de marche, and also enamel to complement the other Breguet in my collection which has guilloch.
