I've had A13020 for 20 years and love it. I can never, for the life of me, understand how a certain big watch with a pedestrian Unitas pocket watch movement gets it's own page but a watch with this rich history is neglected. Oh well!
I'd be embarrassed to be wearing a watch with 007 all over it. Don't get me wrong, big Bond fan, I just get sick of all the marketing bulls&^t, They put out so many of them that I don't think they'll be investments either.
Ha Ha! Alexandre was going to show me the watch at the JLC Boutique and came back very apologetically that it had sold... So you're the culprit! Congratulations on your purchase, beautiful watch.
Thanks for the review. I thought it was very thoughtful and accurate. I would have to say that the only complaint with mine (minor) is that the luminous hands are not very bright and unreadable in even the blackest of nights.
I brought the watch to my AD and though the strap wasn't under warranty they repaired it. They did a great job (you would never know it was repaired) and didn't charge me. As I said before, the strap had separated between the top black fabric and the red backing. The stitching is only for decoration
I've had a Sport Evo for exactly a year (8/8/09) and I don't wear the watch everyday (maybe 60 days total in the last year). I have had the trieste strap separate between the black trieste fabric and the red woven lining. I contacted my AD and they said that the strap wasn't covered by the warranty.
