Officine Panerai: 233 vs. 270 or Eight Days vs. Ten Days

I wrestled with the choice between a 270 and 233 but wound up (pun intended) selecting the 233, largely on aesthetic grounds. I like the balance of the dial with "12" and "6" at top and bottom, respectively, and no "9" on the side without offsetting "3." Also, the numerals on the 233 are slightly la

Officine Panerai: 233

While these are great pictures, I do not think that you can ever make a true judgment of which watch you prefer without seeing the watch in person. I was fortunate to compare the 270 and 233 directly at my AD. I love both watches and, based on pictures, had settled on a 270. I changed my preference,

Officine Panerai: 233 or 90?

I have a 90 that I like very much. I bought it recently for my 50th birthday after having wanted a nice mechanical watch for many years. Now that I have the 90, I have taken a much stronger interest in mechanical watches in general and the Panerais in particular. My AD has offered to trade my 90 for

Officine Panerai: p.200x movements vs. p.900x movements

Hi, What are people's opinions regarding the new p.900x movements and the impact they have on the p.200x movements. Does appearance of the p.900x movements make p.200x movement watches less valuable because Panerai fans find a disproportionately large part of the value of a manufacture movement in t
