Piaget Polo 79: A Revival of Integrated Gold Opulence

The common consensus claims that the original Piaget Polo design was superseded by later iterations. The Piaget Polo 79 , a re-edition, directly revives the bold, geometric case and integrated solid gold construction of the original 1979 Piaget Polo , a d

The Integrated Bracelet Steel Sports Watch That Time (and Everybody Else) Forgot:

I’m talking about the Glashütte Original Seventies , specifically, the Chronograph Panorama Date, Ref. #1-37-02-08-02-70. This is the smoked gray dial limited edition version on a steel bracelet. While this is the reference I happen to own, it can probabl

Congratulations on your new Piaget Polo Date.

It really is a beautiful watch and it looks really great with this colour dial and just the pop of red on the second hand I think it looks much more alive then the black versions I have seen. Wear and enjoy it in good health. Marc

I really like dressy sport watches on a bracelet. Ignoring exclusivity, cost or retained value I like them all! Evidently to be sporty and elegant you'll need to know the date where the ALS is in it's

own category and of the rest I prefer Chopard's approach. For dial color and texture I like the IWC, the LF and the VC, probably in that order but seeing them in person might change the order. For integration of bracelet and overall style of the piece mos

Sport chic

First, let's get the elephant out of the room: for those of us who lived through the 70s, there's only one answer (youngsters can just follow links to get warmed up: Le Freak! and La Freak !) Joke aside, I have been looking at what I would call the sport
