I’m glad you like it...

I bought that model 3 times. That’s how much I loved it. I only with they made it with the sapphire back. I waited hoping that it would happen, but it never did. So, I went with one of the never models. Still, I miss that dial. I think the years that it w

To see it is to appreciate it.....

I cannot agree more on Volcano's statement that the people who panned it are those who have yet to see it in person. Wait till you see it. I was mesmerized and think it will become an all-time classic AP. And if it doesn't work out and AP stops production

Yes, I did ...

... and always do. I heard many time of the myth that you should not wear a watch while playing Golf. I am playing Golf since 26 years - and never without a watch. None of my watches ever had a problem with that. That also counts for the different Audemar

My favorite 42mm ROO

I have a few 42mm ROO over the years, like Lava & Volcano, but I must admit these two are and will be my favorite for a long time. Both have a special place in the history of the 42mm ROO, they are the only ones with rectangular shaped chrono pushers,

All your responses are great

I found someone has a Jarno Trullie and will be inspecting the piece this weekend. I agreed the orange and blue dial does look a bit odd on the ROO, I already have a truly amazing Black ceramic with orange diver in my stable. The JT on the other hand has

New Diver: Audemars Piguet Ceramic

After a long wait I finally picked up my AP Ceramic Diver from the Singapore Boutique and have really enjoyed the watch. I also got the new 20mm deployment buckle which look like a mini version of the tang buckle the diver comes with. I did this for two r

Re: Underrated classics

I like the earlier 25721ST also, very beautiful and underrated. Later models (2006-2013) have painted logo and Safari / Volcano / Navy have colored numerals as you said but Themes models (black or white) have lume numerals

My "Contemporary" Vintage AP ROOs!

Hi All, I've own a fair number of AP 42mm ROO's from the Bumblebee, Safari, Volcano, Navy(old rubber pushers/crown model ), Panda, White themes, Rubberclad black dial, and I have to say I went back to the "beginning" of the AP ROO range and found the "Bea

Leather straps for the Black Ceramic Diver

Hi All, I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a Black Ceramic Diver but I was wondering if anyone knew if any leather straps would fit on it? Specifically the leather straps from the new 2014 42mm ROO or the older volcano strap though I realise the tang
