I find it fascinating…

How in many cases BMW doesn’t manage to up the magic when transitioning from sedan to coupe but rather dampen it. Z8 was not as special as the then M5, M8 nowadays less so than the equivalent M5, in M3/M4 the Coupes tended to be a tad heavier and not as p

I like this game.

I didn't even really have to think about this too hard as for me my choices were easy to make. Number 1 in the garage would be an Aston Martin DBS V8 Vantage X pack Spec. Aston Martin DBS V8 Vantage X Pack Spec 1 Aston Martin DBS V8 Vantage X Pack Spec 2

I was lucky enough to drive a Z8 from Frankfurt back to London

It was a truly great drive in a greatly underappreciated car at the time and I raved about it to anyone that would listen, but most preferred the Ferrari 360 at the time a greatly overrated car IMHO. Yes I did drive it on the limit on the parts of the Aut

Coffee & Cars . . . Penske Auto Mall, Scottsdale, AZ

On the third Saturday of the month, auto enthusiasts in the Phoenix area hold an informal gathering from 8 - 10 in the morning at the Penske Auto Mall in north Scottsdale. It was a fun couple of hours soaking up sunshine and strolling through the lot. Her

Oh yes

This car is an absolute joy inside, out, and mechanically. My dad bought one new in '02 and has been driving it consistently in good weather for 20 years now! The local BMW dealership jokes that his is probably the highest mileage Z8 in existence.

The Z8 is highly underrated by most IMHO.

Hi all Back in the time when these cars were first being released I was in one of my not working phases and helping out a friend of a friend that was a luxury sports car dealer. I was making weekly trips to Frankfurt to then drive back to London various F

An absolutely gem of a car...

The BMW Z8 is an amazing gem of a car. One that is underappreciated. Design wise, it's so perfect... It deserves to be housed in a museum. It's probably in a museum or two! I haven't driven one (moved one in a parking lot, but that doesn't count).

I am probably one of the few

but I really dislike the design of this Z8 - it is not classic traditional enough in my opinion but has just a bit too sharp and aggressive wannabe-lambo-lines in the front. Something kids prefer with their die cast metal cars or James Bond car addicts ;-
