Although a black leather interior would be more practical. This was my dream car when I was so young before working. This is on a short list of cars on my radar for a vintage pleasure with real character.

were many jokes about this new front design. But in the meantime most critics have gotten used to it. Or now have other worries. LOL And I personally have always liked this design very much.
It is a beautiful car. A colleague of mine used to.have one and he always told me that the car was made to be more of a beautiful cruiser.
The prices are quite accessible, if i am not mistaken. A beautiful piece indeed.

the Z8 is BMW’s most beautiful sports car and one of the most attractive sports cars ever made. Comparable to an E-Type (for me). Love it!
An absolutely gem of a car...
The BMW Z8 is an amazing gem of a car. One that is underappreciated. Design wise, it's so perfect... It deserves to be housed in a museum. It's probably in a museum or two! I haven't driven one (moved one in a parking lot, but that doesn't count).
Indeed it is if you're a roundel fan like me.
Especially if you prefer the older design style.

Definitely a classic. Timeless styling. Terrific engine (same as the M5 from that era). Manual transmission.
And prices here in the U.S. have certainly borne that out. Low mileage examples are very expensive and are now collector cars IMO. John

It definitely is.
I tried to add one to the collection about 3-4 years ago and they were already hovering around the $200k mark. And at that price point a lot of options open up so I passed onto the next.

As always, no review can be taken too seriously. Especially ones from an a show like TG which is primarily for entertainment, not consumer advice. It doesn't matter how the Z8 drives, not really. It is a thing of beauty.
I don't believe there's any real doubt.
They were $80-$100,000 used cars for a long time. Now it's $200-$400,000. I've seen sales over $400K These were ripped by magazines when they came out. I guess it's not enough to be a gorgeous 6-speed roadster with 400hp and rear-wheel drive. Journalists ...
