Omega: Congrats Singingbee

It is also my favourite watch of late and not to be pedantic but those are close up pictures of the near side the far side is on the back of the watch. Otherwise I agree with all you say about this great watch and easily the best of the Dark Side of the Moon watches due mainly to the slimness due to

WristScan: Apollo 8 Dark Side of the Moon

A watch that shows both sides of the lunar surface and with a mix of old style manual wound movement with great finishing and a modern ceramic case which to me is one of the more unique speedy's out there. Marc

TimeOut: Great memories of my Childhood

We used to spend 4-6 weeks every summer in Knokke when I was a young child and have many great memories of riding along the seafront promenade on the hired bikes and the other options they had and of course swapping sea shells for our hand made paper flowers with all the other children from various

Audemars Piguet: Hell Yes

Hi perregaux1 That colour combo really works IMHO but as is often said who cares what anyone else thinks its your watch so all that really matters is that you like it, wear it in good health. Marc

Blancpain: Just a thought

I'm not saying I would of bought one but anyone from Europe would have to pay 20 % import duty on top of this price so I don't get why Blancpain couldn't of handled the shipping to one of th

Horological Meandering: Hodinkee design them for collectors!!!!!

Sorry but that made me spit my coffee out and nearly I choked not a good way to start the morning. Hodinkee used to be a great read and resource for information about watches now not so much IMO it's more about the look at me crowd and showing off and of course selling for profit. I have no doubt wh

Horological Meandering: There are risks but

Hi sportster I recently purchased a Speedmaster Apollo 8 Dark Side of the Moon even though I had seen the horror story of one DSOTM watch where the lug snapped off ceramic is one of the hardest elements and can only be cut by diamond. Having said that it is brittle so can chip or shatter if you mana
