eklektik's comment makes me wonder what else my grandfather could have gotten for the same price as that diminutive 14K Omega at the time he bought it... doh! [nt]
This Omega belonged to my grandfather.
I had it restored to working condition several years ago, and while I don't often wear it I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to rescue it.
Thanks :-) Glad you like the pic. [nt]
Nice... Cadillac? Hope I'm not too late to add this...
Slightly different variant...
Coming... ...and going "Z"
Thanks, digging yours as well.
That TAG was the first “nice” watch I purchased. It accompanied me through most of my college years, lifeguarding and teaching swim lessons during the summer, concerts, my first “real” job, etc. I should get a new battery for it. Cheers!
My F1 says hello... from '90 or '91.
I've always wondered
Who fixes the Alfa support vehicle when it too breaks down?
I'm thinking a pilot-style watch with a 1st class movement like that found in the Marinemaster would be cool. RM
I used to own this one...
...which despite having a date and an ETA-sourced base caliber (albeit I believe modded at and by IWC at the time) was a nice watch. But then I no longer own it.
