I agree, no amount of cool cars entering the market would quickly change the un-availability of chargers, and the price of electricity

Here's our special electrical rate for EV in the San Diego area. Unless you charge in the middle of the night between midnight and 6 am, the cost is roughly 50-75 cents per kWh. Plus a daily charge of another 75 cents. With a Tesla battery (most common si

Let’s recap a little bit…

When it comes to things like policy there is always a huge influence of various parties, let’s call them lobbyists, to stay polite 😊 After 2015 two things happened in parallel. First of all, the diesel scandal. And while apart from VW no one paid signific

EVs are "rich people cars"

...or at least upper middle class vehicles. Maybe a controversial statement, but let me explain. (And if you know the US housing market it makes a LOT more sense) Until you can *satisfactorily* solve for multi-dweller units (MDUs) like apartment builds, c

Nice machine!

Microfiber headliner too! Very important to have a nice headliner material. I can't get used to the "fishnet" material in my Tesla Model 3. My previous car had the nicer Alcantara headliner. The designer of the car used to frequent our website. Luc D. And

All the car companies market their batteries as being module replaceable.

But this really isn't something customers are asking for. This is really something insurance companies are asking for and warranty companies. Consumers think they want this, but I can tell you less than 1% have actually done this - partially because batte

Mine is a December 2018 build and a 2018 model year.

The battery has definitely aged; and I could never get the original advertised range on the highway (not even close). I'd say it's lost about 20% (or slightly more) of its original capacity in about 5.5 years. According to the Tesla degradation charts, I'
