That's unfortunate and sorry to hear that

I don't feel like they play games, not more at least, and in many cases less than other brands. My 1st Lange was a L1 Moonphase. When I purchased it, that's when they informed me that the L1 MP was a companion piece to the Odysseus. I didn't even know tha

I get this totally.

This went from “not being on my Lange radar” to being a “gotta have”. Love the one second remintoire and the dead beat seconds hand. Right now my Lange stable is full with this one, a 1st generation platinum Datograph, a white gold Striking Time, a white

You piqued my curiosity.

Would you mind sharing what the other 4 are? My top 5 are (in no particular order) the 1815 rattrapante (in honey gold), the zeitwerk, the PLM tourbillon, the Richard Lange minute repeater, and the 1815 chrono (controversial, but I like it more than the d

I hope you wife recovers well!

Me and my wife went to grezi. Now Sabres. Lange for me too. I do admit, I always desire a 1815 chrono however I am happy with my montblanc Minerva. For now 🙃

Never loved the Cab Tourb much either, because of the segregated dial and the size.

Look at the top half of the dial. You see rectangles within rectangles (mostly the date window frame, and also the HG lines near the dial edge). All straight lines. Looks like nice kitchen cabinets. Now look down south. We just left the kitchen and entere

i like this QP

imho it is the most attractive QP i've ever seen. Favorite variant is tough to say, the RG took my breath away when i first saw it. I really wish the sides of the case were brushed though. the WG: I had pretty much moved on from buying watches until i ran

A web search yielded a 221.021 of this same batch...

... having caseback # 114881 and movement # 4873. The dial on that watch looks as expected, vs. this watch (which has caseback #114876 and movement # 4932), which does not look as expected. My speculation is that the original dial on this watch may have b

Early dial variation?

Looking to learn more from Lange scholars... I was perusing eBay the other day and came across this first generation 1815 U/D (221.021). It has a Certificate of Origin from Lange so I will assume that is in fact genuine. One thing that caught my eye was t
