As much as I enjoyed the Mare Nostrum, I have to say: the bezel numerals are a bit odd. Though I suppose keeping the bezel plain is a bit odd, too. I suppose the whole watch is odd!

That brushed octogonal bezel looks amazing. You know? I’ve found that I prefer the look of brushed bezels, like those on the 687, the Mare Nostrum, they just look gorgeous and add to the tool(ish) appearance of the watches. Enjoy your watches in good heal
I found mine in 2017 with its original blue shark straps but regrettably sans box or papers. Anyway this doesn’t deters my enjoying this beautiful watch on my wrist! Cheers! Abel
