NWA… the Skipper has joined the collection!

I have to admit, I’ve been more of a casual observer when it comes to TAG Heuer. The TAG Heuer Autavia and the iconic TAG Heuer Monaco Calibre 11 certainly piqued my interest over the years. But the Autavia wore too large for my wrist, and the Monaco alwa

Just because ... I really like it for its design, its rarity, its wearability. (A number of pics incl. macro shots).

The Heuer Autavia Mareographe, ref. 2446C SF from the early 1970ies. There are obviously "Orvis" branded and "A&F" branded versions around but it seems that the "Heuer" branded are by far the rarest. I really like this iteration of the Autavia. Cheers, HS

Heuer Autavia Automatic from the 70's with a Proto Dial.

Not the kind of Autavia you see everyday. Uber cool, isn't it? Best, Nicolas

Probably still my favorite of all my vintage Heuers: the Autavia ref. 2446 GMT "MK1" i.e. first execution.

The watch is from ca. 1968, and it is - say - fairly rare. Cheers, HSTE

Hello dear Nicolas: This is a most beautiful example of one of the several chronograph brands issued to the Argentine Air Force pilots (The insignia on case back belongs to Fuerza Aerea) which includes...

... Omega and the Heuer Autavia and probably some Universal Geneve as well. I own a couple of Autavias but of different references and not in the superb condition of the example you share here. We collectors usually have a long list of regrets around miss

A number of macro-shots of my Heuer Autavia "Mareographe" ref. 2446 SF

powered by a Valjoux 721. It has an interesting serial number, whereby the 6 digit number consists of five "1" and one "2". Cheers, HSTE

Speaking of …. Argentina Air Force: Heuer Autavia ref. 2446

The bezel looks a bit „chewed“ but the rest is in fairly good condition. Cheers, HSTE
