It’s kinda funny because I’ve sometimes wondered how much true passion does Thierry Stern’s kids have for watches and Patek watches 🤔

Nonetheless, to get back in scope of our realities, I just try to initially gauge a general interest by sharing my basic appreciation for watches…and I watch for reactions like paying attention, asking questions, or even a “that’s cool”, as opposed to zon

Makes no sense to me…

I certainly respect any opinions on incredible haute horological, but, it is not me…I appreciate that these are incredible machines, but, too me, I love the history behind watches, love the stories, etc. but, at the end of the day, love a vintage Rolex, l

If I may share my personal mixture of watch,actor/actress/character and movie

JLC Reverso. (Reverso as the epitome of elegant, unpretentious, top of the class) Thomas Crown Affair - (IMHO Pierce Brosnan and Faye Dunaway would be the best of each character) The Dark Knight Rises - Christian Bale (The Best Batman Actor ) Rolex - 6538

50th Anniversary (and some reflections 😅) is appropriate

Apollo 11, Apollo 13 and FOIS How many watch models can a brand make so many variations? Sometimes we complained but from another angle, it’s actually giving collectors lots of options and choices.

Hello Thomas! This watch celebrates 50th anniversary...

Great background on Apollo 8

Like you, I believe Apollo 8 was a great achievement for the space program and a very risky mission. They had no life boat (LEM) like Apollo 13 had. Those three astronauts were brave explorers! Does anyone know what the 19th jewel on caliber 1869 is for?

No worries regarding the photos. I have been waiting for this watch for over a year since I knew about the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 13...

I'm a big fan of the original Snoopy and what it represents. So naturally, I am also a big fan of the Silver Snoppy. This 3rd version is the most fun of the 3 and I think it is also the best version IMHO. I say this from a purely emotional aspect. It lite

While I was tickled pink looking at Snoopy fly over the horizon with the moon rotating every 60 now and then, I think Omega celebrates too many things about the whole NASA bit..

I think it's a heritage they should be more discerning of so that the magic is further reinforced instead of diluted. I'd probably scale back and distill the NASA story along a few celebratory lines. I'm no expert but here's an example: 1) First Omega in
