What's the big deal about GP Neo-vintage pieces I hear you say?

Well, maybe these pics I took today will help illustrate why I think it's a no brainer. 😃 At 38 mm, the Traveler II ref 4940 is an example of a timepiece with classic design language and yet having modern dimensions and manufacturing methods applied. At a

A pleasant lunch, new friends and a new strap for my GP Traveler 2 ref 4940

What a joy it was to meet fellow collector Khang and his family over lunch in Singapore. Thank you so much for this lovely grey custom-made suede strap as well. I put it on my 38 mm Girard-Perregaux ref 4940 today and it's a winner in my books. 🤸🏽‍♂️ And

NWA and a huge thanks to this wonderful community_of_hours!

Hi everyone! I just picked up this amazing 4940 and wanted to share it with the GP group and the PuristS more generally. I only discovered this marvel because of Marc (this_hobby_of_hours), who writes so lovingly about GPs, especially neo-vintage ones. A

What a beautiful and classy looking Girard Perregaux Traveler 2 ref 4940 in white gold.

I really like the looks of this one as I really love the way the raised Breguet numerals add a dimensional look to the dial and the small splashes of red just bring the dial alive. Wear and enjoy it in good health and I always find your posts informative

Traveler 2 ref 4940 in white/grey gold

The love affair continues with GP Neo-vintage. Some pics o f my Girard-Perregaux Traveler 2 ref 4940 in white/grey gold (which is not seen so often). GP does not rhodium plate its white gold pieces so they take on grey hue which can be quite appealing. Un

When the shoes match the strap ☺️ GP 4940

Just back from dinner and I thought I’d take a few shots to share. I’m wearing my GP 38 mm Traveler 2 ref 4940. Dial is beige/off-white. As we know, it’s a 2nd time zone and mechanical alarm watch. I like the looks of this dial. Well balanced. Made circa
