What a joy it was to meet fellow collector Khang and his family over lunch in Singapore.
Thank you so much for this lovely grey custom-made suede strap as well.
I put it on my 38 mm Girard-Perregaux ref 4940 today and it's a winner in my books. 🤸🏽♂️
And thank you for the Vietnamese coffee and avocados 🥑. My wife I had some for breakfast this morning. Such a delight.
Over the years, through collecting, I have made good friends from across the world.
I encourage everyone to reach out and make the effort to get to know the others in the community you belong to.

It's difficult to find nice grey suede straps.... Especially with a lug-width of 21 mm and curved ends. Custom made is the only option and Vietnam is great. They supply many of the big name brands.
Terrific pairing
This is a first class example of the watch elevating the strap, and the strap elevating the watch. It just works so well. Not sure why, but I think maybe the softness of the numerals resonate with the grey suede. Five stars!
