Finally....my dream dress watch. And something we don't see everyday.

Since i started this hobby, i've always wanted a yellow gold watch. In fact, my first expensive watch was a Yellow gold plated Montblanc Star, with breguet numbers...a very handsome watch. But it was a quartz, so when i began to admire mechanical watches

My intention wasn't to tell that Breguet isn't as good as they should...

In fact i'm pretty happy with my breguet, what you see on the macro is almost impossible to spot with your eyes. And I like the brand so much that I have bought a Breguet 5920 last week.

Indeed, Breguet's long lugs must always be taken into account.

For instance, the 5817 Marine with its long and kinked lugs is too large for me (although 39mm would be fine). But the overhaul of the Marine series has already started with the Marine Equation Marchant 5887, so I hope they will bring a basic Marine model

18k Rose Gold Deployant Clasp

Hi, I recently purchased a Classique 5920 BA. I want to get a deployant clasp. Any ideas of where I can get on besides Breguet? Also, it doesn't have to be a Breguet clasp, but I'd like it to be 18k rose gold. I had trouble finding anything. Thanks in adv

both use the calibre fp11.50

the calibre 511 used in the newer(old model used 510-less jewelling) 5907 is the fp11.50 which is 11.5 lignes=25.6mm and re-engineered by breguet without the automatic winding and is fitted with the winding power reserve indicator fitted as the 'slip'type

The primary difference.....

is that the 5907 has a manual winding movement while the 5920 is self-winding and also has the date display at 3 o'clock. Of the two I prefer the 5920, though I would prefer a larger watch like the 5177 with enamel dial. Hope this helps. Bill

Classique 5907 vs 5920

Hi all, I thought I would solicit some opinions from you on the relative merits and design of the Breguet Classique 5907 vs the 5920. Both are in the Classique range, both are 34mm or so in size, and both have small seconds at 6'oclock. Only physical diff

5907 and 5920

Thank you for the response. How about the size. I know the 5907 is smaller, is it that much smaller? What about the thinness of the 5920? I have not seen a Breguet in person, but plan on making a trip to the east coast sometime in the fall, do you have an
