Good times!

That was a fun way to spend and hour...too bad they were low on inventory though as you mentioned. It would have been great to wear the ZW date in PG and then the no date version in PG with the black dial back to back for a good comparison. The new 34mm 1

BYOW - Bring Your Own Watch

A trip to the Lange Boutique with Dimardi. As it turned out, we had more to show them than they had to show us. That tray of watches does not belong to Lange ! The reality of that is this could be true in several Boutiques these days given scarcity of wat

You piqued my curiosity.

Would you mind sharing what the other 4 are? My top 5 are (in no particular order) the 1815 rattrapante (in honey gold), the zeitwerk, the PLM tourbillon, the Richard Lange minute repeater, and the 1815 chrono (controversial, but I like it more than the d

I wonder if they could do this without making it bigger/thicker.

The current ZW has a single disc on the left outer edge with 13 numerals, to display the hour in a single window. How could 24-hour time be displayed? I can think of 3 options: 1 Somehow cramming all 24 hours onto the existing disc without reducing the si

I find it more logic ...

If one thinks about how to measure time over a day, I find the decimal system the most logic but know that it didn't make it far beyond the French revolution and therefore remains a bit esoteric like thinking about equality... If one follows the 24h/day s

Dear friends, while contemplating with my Zeitwerk on why it doesn't find its way to often on my wrist, i was wondering whether a 24 h Zeitwerk would not be more logical than the present 12 h display. What are your thoughts?

Final European get-together - KMII/Jon in London

We had a great lunch at Nandos (one of my favs) - discussed law, AI, and my love of Peri Peri chicken. But man, I didn’t expect to see some of his killer pieces like the limited edition VC overseas, a calendar Patek (perpetual? Sorry I don’t know these mo

I agree...much more appealing than the WG version

The WG was pretty boring to be honest...very monochromatic. The gray they use is very bland and flat. The same gray still exists in the RG version but the color contrast makes it more appealing. Put the black dial into the ZW date with RG and you have a w

Thanks for posting this one, Nicolas!

I actually quite like the Zeitwerk Date as photographed - in the abstract. When I had a chance to handle one a few weeks ago, I discovered that I could not read the date without reading glasses on, and with some difficulty even with the glasses. For my ey
