Strange story…this watch fell 4ft and landed face down on a closet rail, probably aluminum, ouch 😓…yes, my heart skipped 2 beats…but amazingly, I did not find a single scratch or ding. Then next day it ran 1 min fast every 10 min, so like 6-7min an hour…I

Final Chopard post for the year - with the LUC 8HF
Took only a handful of watches for the end of the year break and the LUC 8HF was the Chopard for the trip. While the end of the year should be a time to wind down and not one for a high frequency watch but unless you’re listening to it’s truly unique beat

Post-new years greetings from Verona
Only took this one watch on this extended trip, over three weeks in Hamburg / London / Dolomites / Verona / Paris. Forgot to capture the Alpine Eagle in the mountains where it belongs - but at least managed to take a wristshot on a hill when having a jog!
