Once in a lifetime you can see all of them in the same time and place. I have a clear favorite, here. You? Best, Nicolas

Omega 2366-2 Chronometer.

One I was seriously considering till I learned that the dial was ( professionally ) refinished. These Omega Manual Winding Chronometers are so irresistible! Best, Nicolas

Type XX 2d Generation.

Issued between 1970 and 1986 in 770 pieces, which makes it quite tough to find. But did you know that two versions existed? A two and a three counters. Did you also know that the less common is the two counters, with 364 pieces, while the three counters were made in 406 pieces. Credit: Monaco Legend

Happy Blue Monday

I’ve always thought UN watches look perfect on rubber straps. This one though looks perfect with the steel band IMO. Have a good week everyone.

Quartz watch energy quantified

After 60 years of R&D, analog quartz consumes only 1 or 2 microwatts. (vs Apple Watch 10,000 microwatts idle and dark). This is a 30 times efficiency gain. This insane efficiency in turn allows modern solar quartz to deliver an energy surplus of about 100:1 outdoors and 5:1 in bright indoors, me

D’Jai’s

Famous-or infamous-dive bar in the Jersey Shore. Known as Guido Central in its hey day it’s been forced to clean up its act several times over the years. There was a time when people could still be seen here at this hour of the morning.
