Ulysse Nardin Chromometer Automatic watch

I took these photos last month. The first one is with my "strap artisan" friend, who wears a MING GMT. Right after he changed the strap on my watch, we took this photo. Both Lange and MING do few things only but do them well, and both have a strong design identity. The second photo was at the Palexp

Living history.

During my recent visit to Budapest, while walking around the parliament building I stumbled upon this building with hundreds of bullet marks that date back to the 1956 revolution. Quite astonishing that after seventy years, this pieces of history are still present…

A blast from the past...

This Le Brassus GMT Perpetual Calendar looks awesome on the havana dial. Seems like a lot of watch for the money too.

A couple of beauties...

Managed to try on these earlier today. I really like the deep blue lacquered dial. This one is very tempting. This silvertoned dial version is very attractive and refreshing. Quite different from the blue or salmon variants.

Old vs Modern

One more timing test. Grabbed the Elgin this morning and it was still in perfect time with the atomic clock. I am matching it with the B&R today to see how it does vs a modern watch. The B&R is also amazingly accurate.
