I grow a few orchids. Much like watch collecting and tattoos.....betcha can't get just one.

We started with one as a gift. A Phalaenopsis which stayed bloomed for 4 months. So we bought another one, and another one, and another one..........sound familiar??? Now we have around 50 or so. I keep coming back to the hands . . .

Photos simply don’t do them justice. In person, they’re impossibly thin and elegant! They give the watch a very different feel from most modern pieces. Nothing oversized; nothing shouting for attention. Just incredibly refined execution IMHO!

Minor finger surgery this week

For years, I have had an off an on trigger finger on my right hand. But for these past 2 years straight, the finger locked up every time I closed my hand. Why did I wait so long to fix it? RedBar gathering in Boulder, Colorado

RDS and I attended an event at the Rolex AD in Boulder, they almost had to throw us out at the end. Fun times and some interesting watches were seen. The Urwerk, Moser and Bulgari Gerald Genta were a few of my favorites. I was hoping too see a Tudor Monarch, unfortunately they didn’t have one.
