Living history.

During my recent visit to Budapest, while walking around the parliament building I stumbled upon this building with hundreds of bullet marks that date back to the 1956 revolution. Quite astonishing that after seventy years, this pieces of history are still present…

A blast from the past...

This Le Brassus GMT Perpetual Calendar looks awesome on the havana dial. Seems like a lot of watch for the money too.

A couple of beauties...

Managed to try on these earlier today. I really like the deep blue lacquered dial. This one is very tempting. This silvertoned dial version is very attractive and refreshing. Quite different from the blue or salmon variants.

I fell in love with the 5226G the moment I first set eyes on it in 2022, It was a grail that was always in the back of my mind. I never thought I could get one. That was, until a good opportunity finally arose at last. I haven't come accross many here on WPS. I know that it doesn't appeal to everyon

How Oblique!

This is a just announced this morning new series from Dennison. First thing I thought of were some of those early 1970’s trapezoidal watches from the likes of Vacheron or Piaget. Nostalgic mid century look. Here’s a link to the collection. No affiliation, of course. Just thought they were interestin
