Saying JUST "fake" is so easy. He would have been more convincing had he said "franken". The movement is NOT fake, it is an original Valjoux 72 for Heuer-Leonidas. The case appears genuine Carrera. The dial looks genuine to me.
I am really at loss on this one. Yes, the case looks wrong and should be cushion-shaped, but I would hate to call it a franken because all the parts look genuine to me, including the dial. Any help would be much appreciated

Here is a photo of the back. I have just received the "Extract of the Archives" for "this" watch and it is wrong ! It gives under "metal" : Titanium / Gold; my watch does not have a milligram of titanium and is entirely made of gold. As a result the watch ref. is given as PIC 2296.80.00 - TL 378.051
